Since we were planning a weekend for AMCB, we went to a camping in Tenneville, in the Ardennes to make plans, routes, etc.. 

Even though it was a 'work-weekend'  for AMCB, we did have a great time together with our friends Luud & Tiny, Jan & Anja, Steff, Bert & Nicky and all of our doggies!

Miki is out of our first litter with Kaya in 2008 with Michigan. 
He's lucky enough to be living with Martin & Natacha, who love to be active with Miki.

With their camper they have the possibility to go away for the weekend or for their holiday and enjoy some quality time when they feel like it at foreign countries or in the beautiful Ardennes. 
This year they had an active but relaxing holiday with Miki in France and Italy! We're sure that Miki really has the best time hiking in the mountains, or just relaxing at his stake-out. 
Of course Miki loves to get the extra attention and to get spoiled during these precious moments with his sweet bosses and he also loves the attention he gets from other people!!

We'd like to thank Martin and Natacha for the great updates we receive and especially for them taking such loving care of 'our' sweet and gorgeous boy Miki!! 

On Monday August 15th, we enjoyed a very nice day together with family & friends of the Chinanook's gang!

Gijs & Gwen invited us for a nice walk and lunch. We had a wonderful time walking the dogs in the beautiful forest and spending time with good friends and meeting some nice new people. We also enjoyed the good food & drinks. It was very well organized and they even managed to pick a dry and sunny day in this rainy summer!

It was made during the 1st week at her new home, as you can see they immediately became great friends and still are!!

We enjoyed a very nice relaxed weekend in St. Vith (the Ardennes, Belgium) after our friends Harry & Nadine invited us to come over with the dogs and have a nice weekend at their 'soon to be' new home!

We had a great time relaxing, walking the dogs, training the dogs a bit since the temperature was only 12°C, enjoying some nice chats, sightseeing the village, but also viewing the nice house they are building and seeing the beautiful nature and surroundings!

A big thank you to Harry & Nadine for having us, we would love come back again soon, it was great!

Our sweet and pretty girl Kaya is turning 6 years old today!!

It's amazing what Kaya has already accomplished in these years!

She made us proud getting Excellent placements in show. She made us proud being the leaddog of our team in mushing, while winning quit a number of podium places. And on top of that she gave birth to a total of 13 beautiful healthy puppies in 2 litters...

But above all of this she makes us proud for the lovely, warm and self assured lady she really is!

As always, this is the time of year the dogs start shedding big time and their wool comes out!
Especially with Bailey and his big coat it's a lot of work and a lot of wool that comes out! This time Marjolein made some pics during the brushing, just to show how much wool comes off of 1 malamute, of course of the one with the most wool; our wooly bear Bailey!! And we're not ready yet...

Our sweet boy Diesel turned 2 years old today!!

Even though we feel he's still our little puppy, he really is turning into a big boy now! But he's not mature yet!

His character is so happy, friendly and playful!
He just cheers up everyone; which makes him our sweet little clown.

Diesel is always feeling up for a cuddle mixed with play at any time!!

We just received a very exciting update about Tikaani!
After living in her new home for only 1 month, she's adjusting amazingly well!

Tikaani is already turning into an easy going girl and is totally relaxed in her new home, with her new family and best friend Payok. Even at dinnertime it's ok for her to eat next to Payok without any growling or troubles, for us this is very good news since she was very protective of her food...

Boy and Gisela even called Tikaani a Super Doggy, they are very happy with her and are really bonding with her, so no regrets for them! For us it's great to hear this wonderful news, we couldn't be happier!
